Weight Watchers Internationals asked us to create an integrated communications program to promote and market their organization.
A high-awareness program was designed featuring the cartoon character “Cathy” from Guisewite Studio. To support Weight Watchers’ marketing programs, we designed sales literature, brochures, posters, premiums, and direct mail marketing programs. These effectively distinguished the Weight Watchers program from a legion of competitors. We also designed the
Weight Watchers script lettering style to be consumer-friendly.
Weight Watchers’ corporate and center programs increased beyond expectations. The success of the program was followed by promoting “Cathy” as the spokeswoman for a second year at the centers. Everyone could relate to Cathy’s battle over her weight.
